Rainy days make for lots of fun in the kitchen.

Banana, pecan, date bread. Rye loaves. Chicken noodle soup. Lunch. Dinner........oh what a day! The weather is in true BC style this week. Wait 10 minutes and it will change, or not and it will rain. The kitchen is where I will spend most of my day as well as a 10k bike ride for the dogs.

Pictures to follow soon!!

What do you like to cook on a rainy day?

  1. Hi, making lamb stew for dinner as it's a rainy day and the garden's parsnips and potatoes are begging to be used! Lamb was slaughtered a few days ago by some friends who have generously donated a big peice of back to us. Laaaamb. Yum!
If you have any seasoning tips for this let me know, open to some new ideas. Otherwise it will be standard old stock, red wine, garlic and rosemary.
